Tashia René Fouch
Tashia was born
on April 26, 1971 to Nathaniel & Winnie Fouch. She
is the youngest of four children. Tashia took piano
lessons from age 8-12 and participated regularly in
religious plays & productions at her first ever
church home, Washington Heights United Methodist
Church on Chicago’s far south side. Always deeply
moved by music, her interest soon turned to vocal
styling at the age of 15. While a student at
Hillcrest High School, she was an honors student
with English as a major study who participated in
Chorus; during this time she joined the Mt. Calvary
Baptist Church, where she was an active member,
pianist and soloist with the Youth Choir as well as
the Radio Choir. She graduated with honors from
Hillcrest in June of 1989, and enrolled in Trinity
Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois. In
1991 she became a chartered member of Logos Baptist
Assembly. Over the years, Tashia discovered that
although she had been in church since she was very
young, she did not know the Lord Jesus Christ for
herself. In 1992 she committed her life to Christ
and therein was the beginning of a beautiful
personal relationship she still shares with the
Savior today. This powerful anointed singer has
touched the hearts of many through out the years;
she is truly a woman who knows our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.
