as
they share the Trinity (God, Jesus, and the Holy
Spirit), with everyone they encounter. The Starlights are extractions linked by family blood
and the “blood of Jesus, their musical background
extends back to the 1960’s with the patriarch
lineage of Mr. Henry Botts. The Starlights began
singing together in 1980, having established
themselves as a major force in the Gospel music
arena. Christian men, totally sold out to Jesus.
Their noveau traditional musical style; appeals,
pleases, and delights people of all ages and
backgrounds.
The
Starlights are comprised of Greg Botts (tenor), and

Their
premiere album, “If There Ever Was a Time,” reached
the top of the charts nationally, crossing the
shores to Europe. Their second album “Do U Got It”,
gave the Starlights their closing signature song for
concerts, inducing audiences to a rousing, foot-stompin,
standing ovation finale. Preparing for the next
plateau, the Starlight’s are presently enhancing
their talents to take gospel music far beyond human
imagination.
The
Starlights have set records at the West Hollywood,
Chicago, New Orleans, and Myrtle Beach House of
Blues, with over 400 performances. The Starlights
were awarded the “Best Male Gospel Group” that has
performed at the House of Blues.
Their
versatility has allowed The Starlights to perform
throughout the United States, Belgium,
Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Luxembourg, New
Zealand, and Switzerland. A command performance
before the sequestered jury of the infamous O.J.
Simpson trail, and benefit concerts for the American

Breast Cancer Survivors, among many others.

They
have shared the stage with the crème de la crème, of
gospel and secular music; Yolanda Adams, Shirley
Caesar, The Beach Boys, Vanessa Williams, Stevie

Brown called The Starlights, “the best opening act
he has ever had”. They’ve also appeared on numerous
television programs, live radio concerts, and live
on the internet.
Never
forgetting their main goal: “To Spread The Word
Of God, Through Music”. The Starlights are, and
will always be, the most
requested group to minister in song, to people on
this Planet, and maybe other galaxies to come some
day!
